New Look: Blue Metallic T-Bars

OMG! Don’t you just love it when a plan comes together and you find a gorgeous pair of shoes at an equally attractive price?

Check out these New Look beauties, now in the sale for just £12 and also available in pink:

Blue Shoes 3

New Look, Blue Metallic T-Bar Heels, £12

These little stunners are less than half price in the sale and available here.

Now there was a day when pretty much any t-bar shoe on the high street would fit me OK and with sandals, I just needed to go a size down to achieve the narrow fit I wanted. Those days are long gone and shoes in the UK seem to get wider and wider. Not these ones. These don’t seem to be from the usual, IMO incredibly wide, New Look mould. These are snug and I took my usual size. And I didn’t have to make more holes in the strap to secure them tightly enough.

£12. And in pink, too.

What are you waiting for? Pop these on with some blue skinnies and white top and you’ve got relaxed summer evenings having drinks with your mates absolutely nailed!

Much love x

George / Asda: Leopard Print Gladiator Sandals

Hello, hello!

What glorious weather we are having and consequently, what better time to start thinking about summer footwear, hey?

I was mooching in my local Asda during my lunch break yesterday when I stumbled upon some incredibly comfy sandals which fit like a glove, which I now have to share with you so you can snap some up too!

In complete opposition to my previous post, these are not pricey and come in at a mere £10. I’m not sure how well they’ll last but at that price, you can afford to buy more than one pair 🙂

Here they are:

Leopard 1

Leopard Gladiator Sandals, £10, George at Asda

Leopard 2

Also available in black and gold sparkle

My pair can be found here or the black are here and the gold are here.

In case it’s not clear from the pictures, the bit around my ankle and foot is elastic and therefore grips my footy sturdily in place. The strap over the toes is rigid but not stupidly huge and gapey like a lot are, and the inner sole is slightly squishy and therefore much less likely to blister your foot than something rock solid.

I went a size down, but then I usually do in sandals like these as I find the width difference between a 6/39 and a 7/40 is huge. Dropping down a size makes sandal shopping so much more fun than shopping for regular shoes!

For a comfortable, well-fitting pair of summer sandals, I don’t think you can go wrong with these.

While on the George website, writing this I have also spotted a pair of wedges that have the same elastic strapping around the foot. Might be one for those of you who like a bit of height with your sandals. Check them out here.

That’s it for today, I’ll be cracking open my white Magnum in celebration of the sunshine shortly. See you soon with more narrow-friendly shoes! x

Stunning Primark Sandals!

Ooh, don’t you just love it when a plan comes together!

I have a wedding to go to this summer and it explicitly says on the invite that chunky heels are the order of the day as much of it is on grass. Well now, there’s a shopping opportunity if ever I heard one!

I’d been scoping out some beautiful, and very expensive shoes online when I decided I’d try my old favourite just in case. It came through! I found some perfect-fitting, gorgeous sandals with chunky heels in Primark. My only question was whether to go for the silver or the gold…at £14 a pair, I went for both!

There’s no gaping at the front and the knots / straps at the front are super soft – perfect for wide feet too. And I don’t even need to add extra holes in the straps to keep them on. Absolute win!

Anyone else sandal shopping right now? x
